Can anyone tell me why this happens please? My son had it today and the toilet was filled with what I would describe as a yellowish foam (lots of bubbles). There were two small formed bits of poo too. It may help to know he has problems with tummy that are being investigated (very slowly). His blood tests for Coeliac disease and Chrons disease have both come back negative. He has had blood in poo a couple of months back too and is having an upper endoscopy in next few weeks. He occasionally has mucous too. I've asked about IBS before but they say it is not common in children and there's an element of anxiety in IBS suffers and my son doesn't suffer from anxiety so don't think its IBS. Thanks in advance

Well as he is having test and being investigated it would be foolish of me to guess - I hope they sort it soon, must be miserable for you all.

IBS is not always anxiety related though.

(Uniform is not for real)
IBS is a rank outsider as a diagnosis.

This has the hallmarks of steatorrhoea which has many causes and it is clear that your medical staff are on to this.

Be patient.
