i think o'm going to have to ring in sick again tomorrow - for the 4th day in a row. I have another horrid cold/chest. Since my daughter started nursery on march, i've had to be off work 3 seperate periods, where she's got something and coughed it on me. I feel better than monday, but still not 100%. Would you goi n in my position, or would you wait till you felt 100% better?

I don't think I'd thank you for spreading germs bednobs. Plus, if you don't feel the full ticket, it's going to be hard to carry out your duties. I'd wait till it had passed. Hope you feel better soon. xx
I would wait until I was feeling 100%.

If you go back too early, you'll only end up taking longer to get better and you also could pass on your germs to others.

You need a chance to get better.

Poor soul. Kids are such germ magnets.
You cannot go in and spread it around, sorry bednobs but you'll get a lot more infections via the little one. I hope you feel better soon xx
Wait til you're better, you might give it to someone else. Enjoy the extra time with your baby ;)

i only started A new job in April, and since then i've been off 3 times sick (although once i did actually puke in the office so i don't feel quite so bad about that one)

oh dear rocky -the best thing about the ;last 3 days is that she's been in nursery and i've had the time to myself. I never even thought about keeping her at home
Stay home & take vit C. Not fair to pass on germs. Hope ur both better soon.

Did you have the Eton break - how was it?
Kidlings...... The Germy Monsters ;)
I don't know where you work bednobs, but off 3 times since April, I would be worried about keeping my job.
i couldn;t stay off 3 times in such a short period without being given 'counselling' it's company policy and based on a percentage, anything over 2% is considered excessive.

it's crap isn't it. It's not even like i'm swinging the lead, i really am ill!
if you are ill, stay home.
Stay home and rest as much as possible. It's hard work looking after a little one when you feel ill.
Definitely stay at home until you feel better. They won't thank you for passing it on. Hope you feel better soon xx
You have a simple choice......stay at home and feel miserable OR go to work and feel miserable.
In your position i would got to work......take your mind of your URTI.
Spreading germs is not a big issue if your cough into a handkerchief or other papers.
