What are your thoughts.
If the govenment taxed it we could make more money as a country to help our selves out.
Its proven that to overdose on it you have to smoke over 200 joints in 15mins which is impossible!
It would make crime drop.
Alcohol causes more problems and also causes more harm to the body. Where as Marijuana has no physical effects long term, only thing that might come about is being paranoid and thats if you smoke it constantly.

California is coming round to the idea of making it legal by a federal law as at the moment its a people law. its also passed in quite a few other states.

Would you vote to make it legal if it came to a vote and if not, why?

Sorry, can't believe that anyone can become more intelligent than they already are by smoking cannabis. How can you possibly become more intelligent than you are? It's a virtual impossibility.

Dr B, i think maybe extreme drugs that kill people should maybe stay illegal??
-- answer removed --
Alcohol and tobacco kill more people than all other drugs put together.
Question Author
you focus more on the question and remember a whole lot more.
ok ill say it done done the same sort of thing and i found that i knew and remembered a whole lot more than normal. I took some quizzes and i was almost a quiz master!
I don't think skunk should be legalised. Their are quite a few patients in mental health units with drug induced psychosis, skunk being the main cause.

Dr B....point well proven. Alcohol and tobacco is one of the biggest killers
If your last post is any indication then I would say I was right and you are definitely wrong.

i would question that Ummmm. ive looked lots into this and the movement across america. never found info like that before... ill see what i can find.

maybe it could have something to do with the mental health of the victim, however some stiffs have had weed on their person.

@Starbuckone sorry i dont see what you mean...
I used to work in a psychiatric hospital.
Ummm .......... I think the skunk argument is misleading. It's rather like the difference between a pint of beer, and a pint of whisky. You simply don't take whisky in that quantity..... unless you want to do your head in ;o)

My main reason for completely legalizing all drugs is practical - attempting to ban them breeds corruption and violence at all levels of government; try to find a "clean" police department in Mexico. You either cooperate with the traffickers or die. So rather than spend billions trying to stop it, legalize and tax the hell out of it (as with tobacco).

On a more philosophical level, I think anyone has the right to ingest any substance into their own body that they choose to.
Question Author
bet there are more alcoholics than people 'addicted' to weed.
Just to be clear...

I've smoked a lot of weed in my time, I used to be a very regular smoker as did almost all my friends... during the entire period I was smoking weed I had a succession of jobs that improved as time went on, neither me or any of my friends ever committed any crimes to fund our smoking, which is the norm for the majority of people that smoke.

Sure, you are always going to get a few people that will turn to crime to fund the smoking, but that's not the fault of the smoking, that's the fault of the person.... the same people are the ones that would steal to buy a pint, or to get the latest phone if they wanted it.

People who refer to smokers as junkies tend to be the ones who have never had any real life experience of what they are commenting on and are basing their opinions solely on negative media hype over the years (the daily mail said it true, so it must be true type of person)
It's fine for the unemployed, but it does have too deleterious an affect on hose who need to use their brains, especially for work.
hose/those... whatever
