Having reached the stage of decrepitude where it's necessary to both shake and wipe after a wee, I find sometimes there's a viscosity in what I'm wiping.
Unlikely to be a result of infection, could this be a symptom of a prostate problem?

""could this be a symptom of a prostate problem?""

By problem i gather that you mean prostate disease..........No.
"a viscosity in what I'm wiping" Unsure I understand that. Viscosity is about the ease in which something flows isn't it ? Not doing much flowing if you are wiping. Are you saying you have jelly-like pee ? Some kind of mucus maybe ?

Enlarged prostrate is a likely cause of the flow becoming weaker if that is the issue.
