I have been bitten on my foot by a mozzy/gnat. It is very painful and swollen and red. Should I go to walk-in clinic and get it checked or wait til docs are open on Monday? or just put some antiseptic cream on it.?

Will do...hopefully won't have to though.
Hi mumsie, I suffered at the jaws of a horsefly one year and the resulting bite gave me pain and discomfort for days. As well as the advice from Sqad , try taking antihistamine tablets ( if you are able ) .I found they helped a bit, hope you get some relief soon, blooming nasty bugs x

Thanks Flump1, I have in fact taken a antihistamine tablet (didn't have any cream) and I have got some relief from the bite. Along with the ibruprofen it has taken away a lot of the pain. Still red and swollen but bareable now. Horrible little pests, I was talking to my neighbour in the evening and got bitten to death but this is the only one that is causing me discomfort.
