I´ve been living in spain for almost 5 years, and have never suffered from this condition until now. I thought i took all the precautions, eg avoiding sun, by staying in the shade, but i know i´ve got it now.

Make sure you take plenty of clear fluids, maybe an electrolyte balancing drink and stay in the cool.
Move back to England, the risk of heat stroke here is almost negligible.
Hope this helps. Media URL: http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/physical_health/conditions/heatstroke1.shtml#treatment_and_recovery
Description:
piggy....last 3 or 4 days was bloody hot,wasn't it.
As daffy has said and a number of cold showers.
Take on plenty of fluids and rest, you'll be badly dehydrated, bad headache. I got it in Goa. Thought I was in the shade while I was reading but the "shade" wasn't enough. I laid on the sofa for the next day with the fan going and gradually took on about 6 litres of water.

Get well soon x

Hi piggynose, not all perfect living in Paradise, is it? I just drinks loads of water and sometimes cola which seems to have sugar and salt in it. I've actually been laying out in the sun covered in olive oil (and garlic cos I forgot it was mixed) but only for an hour at a time, cos it is well hot! Hope you are OK. and stop rushing about, it must be worse in the cities!
