I've been advised by the Diabetic clinic I attend to come off the liraglutide until I see the consultant in May. I have not taken it for several days now, and am starting to feel better, not so sick, with dreadful bad breath - v. embarrasing! The only disadvantage to coming off it is that it had helped my blood sugars to lower, too much occasionally! but when I got my insulin levels correct, I was around 5.5 - 7.5, which is good for me. I'm hoping that when I see the Dr he will try me on Victoza, as I've heard good reports of that.
