I'm allergic to hairdye. I have been dying my hair for years, but just recently I started getting reactions. Last time my face got super swollen and I had to go to the hospital and be pumped full of medication.... so obviously I can't dye my hair anymore haha. But I've been reading about some organic hairdyes such as "Herbatint" and other ones. Has anyone ever tried any? Are they worth trying?

i wouldnt try them if your reaction was that bad, unless you have highlighted exactly which ingredient you had the reaction to and are sure these organic ones dont contain it or them.

try extension highlights to change your colour, or spray in colours
Sounds like my reaction too. Tried Herbatint and had same problems as they still contain the ingredient that can cause allergic reactions. Someone recommended to me trying henna which can be obtained from lush shops or online but it comes in a block and is messy to melt down, apply etc etc. So unless i want to go blonde i guess im going grey bit by bit by bit!!
