This is really a question for the girls out there...How is it possible to keep a good bikini line and what are the best products out there? I tend to find it quite difficut to keep it neat and waxed, i'd love to know how strippers have perfect bikini lines 365 days a year!! It seems a mystery to me how they dont get blotchy marks etc and ingrown hairs. If anyone knows the answer or good products please let me know!

Thanks

The best thing I have found is GiGi Brazilian bikini wax microwave which you can get here: http://www.edirectory.co.uk/body4real/pages/moreinfoa.asp?cid=1409&afid=1409&RecordID=1483476

You need the kit that includes a cleanser, oil, lotion for removing leftover wax and a growth inhibitor.

It's stripless so you just heat it up, apply with a spatula and then pick at a corner and pull!  I've found it less painful than using strips, good for sensitive skin and those very delicate areas, no ingrowing hairs and it removes absolutely everything.  I think it works so well as the area is cleansed and then a little oil is applied so the wax doesn't stick to the skin, just those pesky hairs.

Highly recommend it and, next to going to a professional (far too skweamish for that), it seems the best way to get results.  For longer hair, it's best to trim with scissors first for best results and to avoid pain.

Good question, I'm gonna try that too :)
No strippers have perfect bikini lines all the time anyway...they just use cover up and foundation on "that" area.

I tend to use Veet in the winter and go get waxed in the summer, that GiGi stuff sounds alright though might give that a blast next time.

True about the strippers Georgit my mate had a friend who was one and she suffered with bad ingrown hairs so they do suffer

I've wondered this as well.  I've tried one of those 'bikini trimmer' electric shaver things and it doesn't get anywhere near close enough, plus you can't get into corners properly (sorry if that's a bit explicit...).  Wet shaving usually gives me a rash and waxing is sooo painful and again often produces a rash.  I've looked at that kit camille mentions before, but I know sensitive skin is supposed to be better with cold wax, so I was reluctant.  I'm starting to get the feeling that if I haven't solved this by my age, i never will.
I must be the only person in the country who doesn't think bikini waxing hurts...I went on Saturday for one and I was so busy chatting I didn't even notice she'd done it. Even if you do feel the pain, it's only for a few seconds and it's soooooo much better than shaving.
my easy solution is to shave it all off then keep on top of it twice a week with a razor, works for me!!

Emmalee must be lucky, if i shave it once i have to wait atleats 2 weeks before I can go near it again
