Due to have a general anaesthetic on Wednesday, should I take the 2mg of Diazepam on that day as usual or will it affect the anaesthetic? Thank you in advance.

dinky.....no problem.......2mg is a very small dose.

If you normally take it with water and your operation is in the morning, then only the smallest amount to get it down.

If you operation is in the afternoon, the "no big deal"

If you can swallow the tablet without water....so much the better.
