Bra-type padding in a strappy top- help!

I bought a strappy lace top, and it has bra pads in it, unfortunatly they are sown into the top. I have put it in the wash, and they have moved and crumpled and I don't know how to pull them out to their original places! any ideas (otherwise i will have to cut open the sides of the pouches i guess!)

would it not be possible to smooth out the crumpled bra pads, then press them with a steam iron into shape again. In future, though, always hand wash items like this with care.

Ahh yes, I will try this, they have sort of curled over on themselves and twisted around - I will try to iron them out, and then place them correctly again. thank you :)
