Does anyone use one? I bought a really cheapo one just to see what it was like - it was bloody awful but i'm guessing this was because it was so cheap!! I have OK skin and am fed up of clogging my skin up with foundation in the summer!!
Can you reccomend a good one? Not to heavy but OK coverage??
Thanks

I use the clarins one and find its the best I've ever tried. However diffferent ones will be better for different skins. If you have any small empty pots, take them round the make up stalls in boots or debenhams and they will decant some into pots for you to try in your own time
(they dont always have testers readily available!)
i find the boots 17 is good but have u tried the new mousse foundations instead of moisturiser cos there are good and light and keep ur skin cool

Hi - thanks for your replies. I have heard that the Clarins one is good - is it a bit pricey??
I used to use the mouses but found them a bit to thick - if you get hot they seem to come off patchy!!! My friend also uses boots one and she finds it good as well.

Thank you!
Ive tried Avons Beyond Colour Perfecting Foundation and The Body Shops tinted moisturiser with vitamin e. I found both, although went on ok, gradually went dry and flakey and lloked awful. I was surprised I got this with the body shop one as it is supposed to moisturise, even out skin tone as well as provide antioxident protection. Sounded impressive, but wasnt!
THere is one foundation I found to be brilliant from The Body Shop. Very light and comfortable and gave my skin a natural healthy shine. Unfortunately I cant find it right now to tell you what it is called but as soon as I find I will let you know!

thank you!! That one sounds great - i'm going to investigate as soon as i can get there!!
Hi, I use the Boots 17 one and I find it's great. However, if you rub it one too hard it will go lumpy or patchy so start with nice clean hands, put your normal moisturiser on (I have used Astral for 30 years - i'm now 44) then put the tinted over the top. do it it nice sweeping movements from your forehead, going across-ways, and moving down the face. You can finsh off giving it a very light brush over with a nice fat artists brush (I bought one when I found I couldnt afford the Mac make up brush). the good thing about this tinted moisturiser is that it has SPF15 too.

Does the Boots one last a long time - how much is it??
Is the coverage fairly good?
Thanks
Yeah the clarins one is pricey (about 21) but you hardly need to use any of it compared with cheaper makes so therefore it lasts for ages!

And I really notice the difference over cheaper makes as well
Dermalogica do a lovely tinted moisturiser. The great thing is, if you go into a salon which sells their products they are really generous about giving samples to try. I will buy nothing without trying it as experience has showed me that what works for one person wont necessarily work for another. But definately give it a try. You will probably be able to blag lots of other samples too!!!
