Is there anything, apart from surgery, that will get rid of or reduce the appearance of bags under the eyes? I've heard haemorrhoid cream can be useful, but I'm not sure how safe it is! (BTW I've read the AB article on eye bags, but there doesn't seem to be much info on their treatment.) Thank you.

I think the haemorrhoid cream is pretty safe, a number of top models seem to swear by it. Also, going back about ten years a bloke I used to work with told one of our shift (in confidence of course) that he used it and the lad he told didn't go and tell all the rest of the lads... well, not immediately anyway!
Yep haemorrhoid cream I can personally guarantee that it works! I even make my BF put it on in the mornings after a heavy night out, when he needs to appear perky before a meeting!
As a sufferer of severe sinusitus & ocassional insomnia, my eyes can appear puffy with dark rings under. An assistant in Boots chemist recommended a tube of 'Preparation H Clear Gel' for the puffiness. I tried it & hey presto it worked, shrinking the skin under my eyes & making me look less tired! It doesn't cost much, so give it a try. Just gently pat some on the eye bags (avoiding the actual eyes), night & mornings. Let's know how you get on. Good luck!
Or, if you're a bit wary of putting arse cream on your face, try cold tea bags or frozen metal spoons (no kidding!!!!)

Thanks everyone - I'm going to give it a go! Except now I've the embarrassing job of going to buy the stuff! Do you think the assistant will believe me if I say it's for my eyes!!
I believe you can buy it off the shelf in Asda or the like. Good luck!
Nelli, does it work immediately, in other words would people notice straight away and know you've used it? (Can't you tell I suffer from this cursed complaint!)
