i very much doubt it, as the back is not an area that store, well energy reserves, and the skin does not sag, you'll be fine
I'm sure the tattoo design will be fine if you lose weight. Good Luck with both. I've had quite a few tattoos done including one on my back, and I've lost nearly 3 stone over 18 months (on weight watchers). None of my tattoos seem to be affected in any way due to the weight lost.
The closer to a bony area a tattoo is the more likely it is to stay in place through weight gain and loss (so the small of your back, ankle etc) Just avoid what many women do and don't have one on your stomach - that cute cherry will become a monstrous misshapen watermelon with too much weight gain or pregnancy!!! ;) Been thinking about one on my back too - just can't decide what. Good luck with yours and with your weight loss.
