I want to get my girlfriend some genuine GHD hair straightners for Xmas, but would like UK ones that come with a UK warranty and proper UK plug (not some adapter) - does this exist, and if so where do I get them?

You can get your good hair days from www.sallybeauty.com. I take it you are not living in the UK. Sally's is a hair and beauty wholesalers who sell non-trade also.

Thanks for that - I am in the UK actually. Was going to buy online (where they seem to be cheaper) but I'm guessing that those ones are european or american imports as they all seem to have strange plugs on them. Have seen UK ones in local shops, but they are 30 more than online.
Have you got a Salon Services near you (I think there's a website you can check!)? They're normally cheaper in there.
Have you tried eBay?
Get the pink ones - they give some of your money to breast cancer research. Also they look nicer. There is a GHD website which I expect you can find through google.

the pink ones are more expensive cos of breast cancer donation, but if you buy normal ones they are 75 quid. Cant afford to give to charity just because they are pink, they all do the same job.
Hairdressing chains sell them too
