Is it best to get your nose pierced with a needle or gun; a stud (like those used for earrings) or kind of corkscrew things ive heard about. I would like a TINY stud...not the huge ones you often see people have when they first get their piercing. Is this possible? Or does it have to be a big stud? Please give as much detail as you know! Thanks

hi swizz, so you decided to get it done then? I think i had my done with the gun apart from once when I pierced it myself (not recommended I nearly passed out) There are some really tiny studs you can have put in, go to a reputable body piercing shop and they should have loads you can look at before deciding, good luck :)
be careful with the tiny studs, they can look like a spot or piece of snot!!
DO NOT HAVE IT DONE WITH A GUN! It is so much better to have it done with a needle, no reputable piercing place would use a gun. This is because your nose is cartilage (like the top of your ear) and can shatter if pierced with a gun; a gun forces a fairly blunt piece of metal through your nose at a high speed where as if you have it pierced with a needle it is less traumatic for your nose because it is a very sharp piece of metal. I have had my ears pierced both ways and it also hurt a lot less when done with a needle. Hope this helps!
Get it done with needle,i had mine with gun and it was too far back.Got it redone with needle, its much better and precise
