I've had minor health problems for years and I'm finally getting help with some and I'm wondering if they're connected at all if anyone can shed any light on it.
I've had a problem with redness in the whites of my eyes that flare up on occasions and I was told it was all sorts of things over the years and never really got to the bottom of it. after being referred to eye clinic 2 years ago after flare ups became more frequent I was diagnosed with episcleritis which is connected to the roseacea I have. on taking antibiotics for roseacea the eye condition is staying away.( although on seeing different consultant recently at eye clinc I was told it's blephritis which didn't seem right at all)
I have also had a patch of hair loss above one ear which I first noticed 2yrs ago which is being investigated by dermatologist who has ruled out alopecia and says it maybe morphea or discoid lupus. both auto immune disorders I think.
I also have patches of eczema areas that flare up from time to time around my neck line ,near my ears and especially inside my ear where I have had the hair loss close to .
I have also been suffering with low moods quite a lot over the last few months but I haven't taken the step of seeing my Gp about it yet.
I'm in my forties but some of these problems having been going on for a long time.

I think you probably need to hand this lot over to your GP. I didn't bother mine for years, now I suddenly have lots of allergy-related stuff.

Some of yours will be allergy-related, but other things (roseacea) need antibiotics -I've had that, b.t.w..; then there are other things. I definitely suggest booking a double appointment with your GP. He or she will have his/her hands full with this lot -so go armed with all the information you have
- onset of symptoms for everything for example. It needs thorough investigation and, yes, the depression could be associated.
Certainly autoimmune and all your symptoms would fit well into a diagnosis of Lupus.

See your GP.
