I personally do not like foils when highlighting hair because of the bleeding. I have noticed that my hairdressing supplier stocks a cap (tight to the head) for long hair. Firstly whats the difference between this and the normal magicap and is it any good and ensures no pain is felt by the client. Many thanks for all replies.

I've got fairly short hair, and I would go for foils every time - I used to have my highlights done with the cap, and I found it really painful, so I should think that it would be worse with long hair!
The trick to using the cap is to have greasy hair. Never go with clean hair and use the cap. Personally will always go with foils.
