Can anyone recommend a book for a teenager, who is interested in reading about Art and Artists?
I have looked in all the book shops and they appear to be either for the 5-11 age range or for adults.

When I was a teenager - a very long time ago!! - I remember being enthralled by The Agony and the Ecstasy by Irving Stone (based on the life of Michelangelo). He also wrote Lust for Life (about van Gogh) & Depths of Glory (Pisarro)
This one is good. Short descriptions of artists and their work

I'd also recommend Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier (about Vermeer)
