1980's radio play (radio 4) Arthurian legend updated to 1940's

I've tried to find the title of this play,which was broadcast in the late 80's to no avail.
The play updated the Arthurian legend to the 1940's, where Arthur & the knights of the round table were called to action during the Battle of Britain (I think) and flew as a fighter squadron.
Any help would be most gratefully recieved. Thanks
