I'm thinking of entering a painting in a local art competition for the first time, and one of the requirements is that it must be "framed and mirror plated". I've worked out what mirror plates are, but does framed mean set in a wooden frame? It's on one of those pre-stretched canvases you buy in The Works for a couple of quid.
