I've never seen any Sandy Skogland work available on a poster. I have quite a few postcards that I picked up in galleries around London though.
Almost fell off my chair when I clicked your link, watches - I too used to own that postcard, wonder whom I eventually sent it to. I was in London in 1989 (when it came out) but I don't think that's where I bought it, so her work seems to have made its way to Sweden. I can't find any posters either but it seems that if you play your cards well you may be able to purchase a copy of the image from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art

sg wasn't there one with... I wanna say - fish? as well?

thankyou so much for that link I am definately going to send a letter too them!
I know the other one you mean...it was revenge of the goldfish, its an awsome image and more commonly reproduced on album covers and the such...
Its such a shame her work isnt more available as they are such beautiful pieces of work!
Swedeland - yes, goldfish. And dogs, cats, squirrels as well.
Question Author
she has a fantastic book "Sandy Skoglund - a retrospective" which is quite hard too come by now but her older work such as revenge of the goldfish, fox games and cold war are just stunning and i desperately want a copy!!!
Is it the one that's subtitled Reality Under Siege? 'Cos if it is, it looks like there are a few old copies for sale at AbeBooks (unless of course the book owners have already sold their copies and neglected to remove their posts.) I've never used AbeBooks but they're often mentioned on here.
Question Author
yeah that is her book, I already have a copy of that its more a poster Im after!
thanks though... :)
