I have just bought a canvas print in Matalan, it goes perfectly in my hall but I would like something very similar for the other wall, can you recommend someone who could sort-of copy it ?? Hope this pic comes out :

How about you try yourself smurfchops. Do a small one first. Take a flower - perhaps an Iris or a tulip - and try to copy the style. Once you are happy with it buy some canvas and paint (you obviously won't need more than one colour). Just think how proud you will be when people ask about it. Go on, be brave.
I was going to suggest the same thing. If you feel that it would be way too ambitious for you though, how about tracing it with some greaseproof paper and transferring it on to a plain canvas? Good luck! x

You both make it sound so easy ... I have tried copying a canvas before .. I ended up giving it to the charity shop (come to think of it, I think they sold it). But seriously, No, I would rather leave it to the professionals. Maybe either of you could do it for me !!
I don't think you should copy it smurfchops, just consider the style and see if you can apply it to another type of flower. Copying isn't easy!

I would think you could achieve something similar using stencils and then varying the hues and textures and blurring the edges slightly. Worth a try - but do it on paper first!!
hiya.... cant you just buy another one? them kind of stores usually would have more than one. perhaps even travel to the next town to find one in their matalan if your matalan has sold out.

Thanks, but I don't want another identical one, needs someone with imagination. It seems to have been 'rubbed' over a rough surface .. that type of painting. Very effective. Any artists out there ?? (No jokes please .. )
if you've any idea who the artist was, try googling him and seeing if he has done anything else similar?

Or like Zacsmaster suggested, try getting the same thing in reverse, perhaps in a different colour? That way they'd look like a sort-of pair
