As far as our family is concerned Yes. Our family line through the matriarchy is Tarnovsky and are originally from the Ukraine fleeing in 1917 from Kachanovka the family residence. Settling temporarily in East Berlin the book bears some uncanny resemblance and facts to my Great Grandmother who 'ruled' in many senses of the word until her death some 27 years ago. We have always had a copy of the book and therein lies the tale
