"A Child Called It" is actually marketed as an autobiography, though some doubt has been cast as to it's veracity. It basically tells of the horrific time that a young boy had at the hands of his physically and mentally abusive mother, who seemed to pick on him alone out of her children. I doubt that anyone will be foolish enough to write your 250 word essay/description for you, but if you do a word count on the reviews at Amazon you might get lucky - though it will entail some effort.
Why do I get the feeling LeMarchand has just done your homework for you, or done a synopsis on your behalf to win something?
Just what I was about to post Mrs Cheeks!!
I only gave 53 words! It'll probably be too much effort to word count in Amazon if they can't write 250 words on the book themselves. (I've never read it and could probably cobble together that length in 1/2 an hour or so of research).
a totally fictious piece of work from the first page to the last ....huge font size to make it look physically substantial....its a swindle. And I cant see how it is so popular and on the shelves everywhere!!!!
couldn't agree more bluedolphin I was told I was heartless by my friend when I said it was rubbish, Iwasn't making light of real abuse but this guy is talking rubbish
this book is a piece of art and how any1 can slag it off is apalling to me, i have read all three of the books and feel so sorry for the man, unless you've been at the hands of an abusive mother you can't comment about how false you think it is, so either read it or shut it!!! btw i have done a sypnosis for it so read that at least nd go from there: This autobiographical account charts the amount and extent of abuse he suffered from the hands of his alcoholic mother. It tells us how he was isolated from the family, torments him, poisons and then stabs him, and how she nearly killed him through starvation. The portrayal of domestic tyranny and eventual escape is unforgettable. This book is a great way to show people what really goes on behind closed doors.
Can someone help me with a paragraph plan to write an essay on this novel? ASAP
