Where is Elizabeth Frink's statue of the Walking Madonna? Google lists it as being at Chatsworth House and Salisbury Cathedral. Is one a copy? I saw it at St Albans Cathedral several years ago.

No, they are both originals. Elisabeth Frink made four copies from the same cast. Two are at Salisbury and Chatsworth and one is at La Salle university in Philadelphia (?). Not sure where the other is - perhaps it is as St Albans Cathedral still?

Many thanks for all replies. A friend went to St Albans last week and couldn't find it there, hence my enquiry. Will have to check with the Cathedral to see where it went . I have a photo of it so know it was there.( unfortunately not dated )
