i live in a studio flat and until recently had my girlfriend and 2 daughters living with me but obviously had outgrown the flat so she moved out ith the kids to her parents as we could not afford a new deposit, and apparantly it is acceptable by our local council to all sleep in 1 bed! thats me, my girlfriend, a 5 year old girl and 2 year old toddler! we were hoping to save money for a new deposit and get a new place but now as i am the only one earning cannot afford the rent and bills let alone anything else! i really need help and dont know where to turn! we have nowhere to stay and are not getting any help from anyone. does anyone have any ideas of what i can do, as us living apart is putting strain on the relationship and the kids upbringing as they are cooped up with no space of theyre own!

Have you looked to see if you are entitled to housing benefit?
You need to speak to CAB as soon as possible before your situation gets any worse. I just hope that you are still with a roof over your head.
Try Shelter for a start!!!
Does your council have a rent deposit scheme? Have you put a housing application into the counci? If you are on a low income then maybe you can try the council and they will give you a top up? Why dont you look into getting Floating Support through Supporting people- ask at the council or try the website. They will help you with what your entitled to and help substain your tenancy where you are at.
Floating Support are their to stop people being homeless before it is to late.
