My bestest toys were ....

My Action man ...who lost his foot in a parachute incident. It failed to open from a bedroom window freefall.
However like the six million dollar man , I was able to rebuild him with the help of some airfix glue.
Had an uncle who worked at airfix ..so had a regular supply of kits to make ..oh joy

Best ever thing I had , was my Chopper bike.
It was one of the first and was Yellow with three gears. Stick shift ...just where you your man hood would land ...boy did I jump with pain ...
Had a long seat ...so I could take the gilr next door as a passenger. She would wrap her arms around me and off we would go ...damn she was only 10 ...I was just 33 ... only joking ...I was 11.
Wonder where she is now ? The chopper that is.

I know some one who has a whole collection of Ladybird books. I loved them when I was small. Especially the Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella ones and ROse Red & Rose White.
I would love to get hold of them again. I loved the pictures.
I had a BaffleBall. That kept me going for hours.
I had a game called Dizzy Bugs. You wind up some ladybirds and put them on a board to spin round until there was only one left on the board.
The game I always wanted was Mousetrap.
My husband has Monopoly set from the 1970's and its still in great condition.
