Les Jeux sont faits

I would like to read the english translation of Les Jeux Sont Faits, either online, downloaded or the book. However the book is out of print and I can only find it for $179 from the US. Does anyone know of anywhere I could download it or buy it for a lower price?

It is expensive because the print run wasn't so numerous and I suspect either people have held on to their copies or there is a market for it just because people can't understand it in the original French. It is available for cheaper (but not that much) than you've seen, however. Try googling the English title "The Chips are Down" and put in the translator's name (Varese) as well.

Alternatively how about the library? It's not an enormous book c130 pages so a standard loan should see you through it with time to spare.

I've already tried googling to no avail. I might try the library then, I'm not a member but if it's a last resort I suppose I could join and see if they have it
