Anyone capable of googling can find it.

I have an account with a bank branch that has the sorting code 30-99-29.

Anybody reading this should feel free to use that snippet of information to steal my identity, if they think they can.

I've always wanted to know too why people continually ask whats the bank branch from a sort code. If a cheque has been cashed fraudulently then contact your bank and they will sort it. I dont understand what you would now do with this information?

I always wonder why people want to know this kind of information, I have seen quite a lot of questions asking where some bank code is for.

Just worried about fraud.
