Dawgs, possums, procrastinators- ...and here I would have entered the antonym of "procrastinator" but my online sources say there is no such thing. Good to know, isn't it, biddies. (They must not have heard of
Vinny) "Hello My Darlings" made my day Vinny, what the hell was that, Michael Palin's dad or something.
Hippo and tortoise being friends "despite the age gap" made me laugh too but why did they have to be separated, couldn't he have had his hippo girlfriend but still lived next door to his old buddy. Size gap needn't be a problem, look at
Woofy's ark for instance and the new pet she's forced upon her reluctant husband, she hasn't told us yet but there's a photo on the boys' web site of
the poor man. And then she says he's fibbing when his elbow hurts!
Sad about your friend
Jude but she seems to know to trust you and enjoy your visit.
What is that beautiful tree,
Robinia. I wouldn't know one tree from another but it's lovely. And so is Charlie, you can tell how safe he feels on that piccy. I'd like to have a dog but it would have to come with a garden and a treadmill - for the dog! I like big dogs but they require more exercise than I can provide. Maybe I could just have Cesar Millan instead. (Sure you could, Kit, and you could both live at Versailles and travel around in a pumpkin carriage, how's that sound to you.)
Speaking of trees, don't know if Tim Knowles is well known in Britain but he was on the telly here the other week with his tree paintings, which in this case doesn't mean paintings of trees but
paintings by trees
