Many years ago, trhere was a series of books about a group of children who renovated a hall and turned it into a theatre and I have forgotten the author's name - a woman, who was also an actress. Does anyone know it so that I can search for the books? Thanks - Sue

The Swish of the Curtain by Pamela Brown. It was also on tv starring a very young Sarah Greene.
