How do you identify and explain the audience of a text? What are the reasons the author would use a paticular audience? I am reading and essay called "In defense of Literature" by Wendell Berry. It is about how students today posess mediocre writing skills, schools accepy inadequete literary work and how the language itself is no more than an ornament. HELP ME!!!
