In the Pardoner's portrait in the General Prologue to the Canterbury Tales, he is described as having yellow hair. Was this often taken to be a sign of impotence or sexual ambiguity in the middle ages?

The Pardoner was possibly a eunuch so the thin yellow hair maybe indicating a lack of masculinity...
