Christmas book

When I was young I remember having a story book of Father christmas (not raymond briggs), and the book was roughly about the build up to christmas and that santas house was his workshop. It would show where the reindeer were kept and where the gifts were wrapped etc.... Im sure it had a white cover and was very well illustrated. I know it is vague but I was hoping that someone may remember it, I had this book around about the 80's. Or could someone tell me of anywhere I could try to obtain more info?, as I have endlessly searched the net and come up with nothing. Thanks.

The book had a RED cover and was about a4 size
