Can anyone help me find websites where I could buy a travel journal from? For recording day by day details of a holiday? i dont want just an ordinary notebook.

Just go to Amazon and put "travel journal" into the search box, loads come up!

You do want just an ordinary notebook - a 'niceday' fully bound A5 size one to be precise.

You can get one from just about anywhere - woolworths included.

It is the best notebook for travels. You're going to be sticking so many bits of info and diary pages in it that you need something in this hardbound format so that nothing goes missing.

Trust me, it is the best. I've not ever had a problem with one A5 book - it'll cover two months or so depending on how epic you are. Three books weigh nothing and they are brilliant.

NiceCupOfTea, not really what I was looking for, I didn't want an ordinary notebook (bound or not) I wanted a fancy one specifically for travels, it was for a present so a plain notebook wouldnt do

starship - I assumed that you wanted a "write in" journal from your post. Take a closer look at Amazon - search on the 2 words: travel journal. Most of those are ones to write in. The first 1/2 dozen certainly appear to be. Some have "fill in your details" pages/envelopes/places for photos etc.

If you have a Paperchase near you one of the journals is one of theirs; also it might be worth checking out a large branch of Waterstones or Borders - when I managed a chain bookstore we used to keep the odd travel journal (though they never sold very well!).
