Anyone read the book? I just finished it; loved it. Anyone seen the film, or both, and what are your opinions.

I've read the book and wasn't that impressed. It was okay, but I found it a bit disjointed at times and the characters weren't very appealing. I usually like this type of book but not this one. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, just not for me.

Have read the book & loved it but I don't want to see the film as it will spoil how I see the characters in my head

I've read the book and enjoyed it, but I agree with pterodactyl- I've no desire to see the film.

P.S- his other book- 'Dry' is a good read also!

Agree with you both there - the film is always so disappointing (and did not get great reviews I believe.) Thanks for the tip Bathsheba I will look out for it.
