What was it - childrens book

When I was a little girl i remember reading a book in which a girl went to visit her aunt/grandma? and was made to practice the piano. She didn't want to but when she touched the keys, the walls of the room disappeared and she saw into a beautiful garden. I am almost sure it wasn't Milly Molly Mandy. Can anyone help please?

Doesn't sound like Milly Molly Mandy at all - I don't ever remember her playing the piano.
