At work (in a school) today it was 'physics -circuit boards'. Blimey myself and the female teaching assistant staff could think of nothing more boring; one man piped up 'it's better than a few hours in ikea'.
Now, am I a girl's girl if I prefer the ikea option (there are many better shops, granted). Are there any girls who would rather make circuits, any boys who would rather shop?

I would rather shop for CDs than wire a circuit board, but I'm good at the former and useless at the latter- I'd short circuit most things but last Monday I got 3 Beck albums for 14. Clothes stores, though...still agonisingly boring (would actually rather wire circuits).

IKEA I like...but only for the hot dogs. Though they make some fantastic desk lamps and I do have a great CD storage rack from there...oh ****.
I hate shopping....I do mine all in ASDA to get it out of the way....so wear George shoes , suits, jeans ...everything.

Why you women are so facinated by shopping , God only knows

I'd rather learn how to make a circuit than go to Ikea...
I'm guy, straight 18 y/o student and I work with computers / electricals all the time, but I would prefer to go shopping at ikea than make some circuit thing.
