Has anyone ever heard off an Italian Artist by the name of Paolo Cervone? Last known to live in Conegliano, Italy, as of 1985.

Yes, his art often portrayed an umbrella. He told me once that it was a symbol of those things in a man's life that allowed him to endeavour to go on in a sometimes hostile and unfriendly world, it stood for his his wife, his family, his home, his job, his identity. These things nourish and protect all. He did a painting for me, a cityscape with a man holdin his umbrella, it's pouring rain, and cold. The individual in the painting is holding the umbrella tightly against a strong and cold wind. I also remember he had a truly beautiful family, and one wild child.
