Does anyone have any information on the 20th century
artist James Priddey ? I believe he was from the Birmingham area.

Born and live in Birmingham, 1913 - 1980, Painter and printmaker. Studied at Birmingham College of Art. Exhibited widely. Won medals at Paris Salon. Many of his original prints are still available today.

Ah well, there you go. My grandfather was from Keighley and my grandmother fom Louth, so I consider myself at least partly "northern"!
