Hi,

I have recently decided to get into blogging. I want to make a web journal for my children so they can read it as teens and young adults and perhaps understand whay was in my head when I was busy 'ruining their lives', hehehehehe. Also, they will be able to know things about them and read about memories they may have so if the worst should happen to me, they won't have to fish for info, they can just read up on it.

so, what are your favourite blogs sites. I have tried myspace, but it doesn't seem that stable (lots of outages). Are their any others, and also, any tips for a newbie blogger such as meself?

many thanks all you spoddies.

hi mimi, thats a lovely idea, have you looked at livejournal? I find it a bit hard to use but I know quite a few people who use it and love it. www.livejournal.com

The only tip I can think of is if your blogs are going to be really personal then mark them for friends only or private, otherwise they will be public which means anyone even if they arent a member of the site can read them if they come across them.
Why not just keep a REAL journal??! I have written a diary every day since I was 11. I'm now 36 and it is fascinating reading back. I find it therapeutic to write but I like the fact that it will not crash and vanish forever.
