How do freelance dancers find work? In particular, male dancers as I am considering it as a career choice. Thanks.

Possibly by reading 'The Stage' and going to auditions? Why don't you buy a few copies of The Stage and see if there are dance jobs advertised?

most professional dancers are with a dance company, which means there is a stronger chance of work, and each dance company have lead dancers, i think you should look to auditioning for a dance company.

Male dancers are rarely out of work, female dancer frequently!
