does anyone know who painted a picture of george stevensons rocket (railway locomotive)under a bridge with a crowd of victorian people waving ?

Bit disappointing, that one dot - doesn't show the MP being run over. I take it we're not thinking Turner??

thanks dot.hawkes but no.the one i have seen is in colour and a lot closer.it features the rocket just under the skew bridge in rainhill.regards anyway
google image "rocket at rainhill 1830" which should take you to the BBC Liverpool Local History site, & could be the picture you want - get some leads from there, if you haven't already found it...?
