I am a poor struggling art student and need some help.

I am interested in casting (particularly body casting) in all mediums, plater, resin, cement(and fondu), paper and others too numerous to mention. I could use the university library but I would rather have personal recommendations as it proves much more time efficient.

Cynthia Palaster Caster is an amusing side road, worth a look. Here is a link, just follow the trail of plaster dust and wonky willies!

Not really my thing but I have a friend who would love it!!!!

Any book about Antony Gormley would do the trick? He generally gets casts done of himself and has to breath trough straws. Most of his scupltures are done using body casting (incuding the studies for Domain Field). You could look on amazon to find out which books. Hope that helps.
