Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Another enjoyable puzzle. It wasn't as daunting as the preamble initially suggested. There was a good mix of clue difficulty -- some very straightforward, others "Sabre-esque". I particularly liked the 'bucket' and the 'Oz informer' clues.

For the second week in a row we are not convinced that we have completed the puzzle.
The grid fill was satisfying and the clues were amusing but the end game did not give us any sense of closure.

I’m in agreement with upsetter. Great fun but I am unsure quite what the final grid should look like, but maybe that’s down to me, geometry not being my strong point.

I found this harder than last week's hexagonal. I needed to cold solve around 90% of the clues - many of which were, as you say, quite tricky (a couple were very obscure) - before I could start the grid fill. This was pleasantly quick, thankfully, but I then ground to a halt on the shading. I spotted something which could work this morning, but I spent a long time looking under a different interpretation of the instruction. If my answer's correct, then I'm not entirely happy with the preamble. It's nice to have the narrative, but I don't think it was adequately precise.

But, that's a minor thing, really. It's an excellent, quirky puzzle which I really enjoyed - thanks Arcadia!

Like others, I'm not totally convinced by the shading. What I have done seems to meet what is said in the preamble, but leaves me asking what the point of it is. Has Mrs. Arcadia taken the huff?
Still something different, some very easy clues I thought, some much tougher. Thanks Arcadia.

I think you have to read all this as a bit of uxorial oneupwomanship :-)

Surprised by a few of the comments; the preamble is almost too helpful, and there is surely no doubt about the solution?
