if you lived with a partner you had been with for a great many years and they were struck down with Covid-19 would you want to spend time with them or risk them dying without you being with them or having said goodbye?

Thats a grim thought: if they are hospitalised you'd have no option but to stay away. Such awful times for people.
That’s one hell of a dilemma, Lankeela. Dave and I are mulling it over but I guess we don’t know until it happens. Who would have thought we’d come to making decisions like this.
Very difficult, as gness say's I think I'd have to cross that bridge if that situation arose.
Wait until we get there. Just hope I would understand whichever way I had to face it.
