What is William Dubois "veil/lifting the veil" philosphy? Also, according to Dubois, the policy that Booker T. Washington has advocated for 10-15 years has offered what 3 negative returns and why?

Again, I will share my knowledge with others.

The veil was a symbol of separation between blacks and whites, and the obstacles that blacks faced in gaining self-consciousness in a racist society. It was preventing blacks from seeing themselves as they are. Dubois struggled to prevent Blacks from becoming invisible to the rest of the world, hidden behind a veil of prejudice. Blacks needed to lift their veil to education, political, and activism.

why ask the question when you know the answer!?!
