This is in a small local chemists. I know they need to make a profit but would a generic product bought from somewhere like Boots be cheaper?

It`s still £3.45 for Boots own brand. You wouldn`t be able to buy something like hycrocorisone from a pound shop because it has to be bought from the chemist - the server can`t even sell it to you if the pharmacist isn`t there.
