Does anyone know what happened to the third Jurassic Park book by Micheal Crichton (not the film) that was supposed to come out at the start of the year?

I don't know what's happened to the Jurassic Park book, but he is working on something called Prey at the moment - a film from 20th Century Fox and a book. It is a medical-based thriller.

I got this from Michael Crightons website - Are you going to be writing a new Jurassic Park book? No. After I wrote Lost World I said I wouldn't write another dinosaur book.

i hope not! the second novel was so bad in my opinion, i thought it was ghost-written. anyway.. see clonmult's answer. :)
